We only collect what we need to run the shop and look after your order. Here's what that is, who helps us, and your rights.

Who we are

Toraflare (43 Clayton Drive, Ty Harlech, Swansea SA4 8AD, United Kingdom) is responsible for the personal information described here. In data protection law, that makes us the "controller".

What we collect and why

  • When you order: your name, email, phone number, delivery address and what you bought. We use them to take payment, deliver your order and contact you about it. This is needed to carry out our contract with you, and we keep order records because tax law requires it.
  • When you contact us: your message and contact details, so we can reply. We do this in our legitimate interest in answering you.
  • Try it on: if you choose to use it and tick the consent box, the photo you upload is sent to Google's Gemini AI service to create your preview. Neither we nor our systems keep the photo or the preview.
  • Visits to the site: only if you choose "Accept all", we count visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics. It doesn't use cookies or identify you.
  • Security: to stop misuse, such as repeated checkout attempts, we record a scrambled (salted and hashed) form of your IP address for up to 2 days. We can't turn it back into your IP address. This is in our legitimate interest in keeping the shop secure.

Your bag and your cookie choice are saved in your own browser. They don't reach us.

We don't sell your information, and we don't send marketing emails.

Who we share it with

We use trusted providers to run the shop. They only use your information on our instructions:

  • Stripe, to take payments and send your receipt
  • Cloudflare, to host the website, keep it secure and (with your permission) count visits
  • Turso, to store order records, in a data centre in Ireland
  • Resend, to send emails about your order
  • Hostinger, which hosts our email inbox
  • Google, for Try it on previews
  • Delivery companies, which receive your name, address and phone number to deliver your parcel

Some of these providers are based in, or store information in, the United States. Where that happens, your information is protected by safeguards UK law requires, such as the UK–US data bridge or approved contract clauses.

How long we keep it

  • Orders: 6 years, as UK tax law requires
  • Checkouts that were never paid for: deleted after 30 days
  • Emails with us: as long as needed to help you, then deleted
  • Try it on photos: not kept at all

Your rights

You have the right to ask for a copy of your information, to have it corrected or deleted, to limit or object to how we use it, and to receive it in a format you can take elsewhere. Where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time, for example from the Cookie settings link at the bottom of every page.

To use any of these rights, email info@toraflare.com. We'll reply within one month.

If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, please tell us first. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.

Changes to this notice

If we change how we use your information, we'll update this page. Last updated 26 September 2026.
