RUKAYAT TOSIN

Rukayah, the creator of TORAFLARE, born and brought up in Lagos, Nigeria, comes from a family of creatives and has always been fascinated by fashion. Growing up, she felt stifled by the idea of wearing uniforms and wanted to express herself through clothing.

After high school, she decided to pursue dressmaking, encouraged by her mom. In a sweet and slightly cheeky anecdote, Rukayah reveals that her mom cleverly tricked her into starting her fashion journey by taking her to a seamstress under the guise of a market trip!

And that’s how her love affair with fashion began, leading to the birth of TORAFLARE.

Distinctly Rooted

TORAFLARE was Fully established in 2022 After Rukayah completed her tertiary education in Business Administration and Management alongside fashion upgrade classes and training with different organizations, working with different groups. Rukayah is confident to combine her years of studying business models and extensive fashion knowledge to create a brand that evokes confidence and gorgeousness.
