Founder
Rukayat Tosin
Rukayah, the creator of Toraflare, was born and raised in Lagos, Nigeria. She comes from a family of creatives and has always been fascinated by fashion. Growing up, she felt stifled by the idea of wearing uniforms and wanted to express herself through clothing.
After secondary school she decided to pursue dressmaking, encouraged by her mum, who cleverly tricked her into starting her fashion journey by taking her to a seamstress under the guise of a market trip.
And that's how her love affair with fashion began, leading to the birth of Toraflare.
01 · Distinctly rooted
Toraflare was fully established in 2022, after Rukayah completed her tertiary education in Business Administration and Management alongside fashion upgrade classes and training with different organisations. She combines years of studying business models with extensive fashion knowledge to create a brand that evokes confidence and gorgeousness.

With a passion for sustainability and a commitment to excellent craftsmanship, Toraflare designs pieces that inspire confidence for a responsible and stylish future. Our goal is to create clothing that not only makes you look good but also respects the planet.
03 · Keeping the planet safe
Toraflare focuses on quality clothing made mostly from natural fibres. Offcuts are transformed into textile designs for interior decoration.
